Today I was listening to a conversation between Madeline and her best friend Kate. Kate was saying that she has a new teacher, Netta who is so beautiful and she wants to marry her when she's grown up. However, Kate saw her gender as an obstacle..."Girls can marry boys and boys can marry girls." Mads assured her that some girls can marry girls and some boys can marry boys. I love that she sees this at such a young age!
