Lola

Tonight Lola was eating spaghetti at the table. Maria walked in and said, "Jeffrey...oh my god...you are so beatiful." And Lola responded, "No, I'm a mess!"

The next morning Maria tells Lola that she loves her outfit. Without missing a beat, Lola responds..."I got it at Target." (But she didn't.)

Wanted

When I Grow Up...

Madeline and I were watching this cool show, Planet Earth on the Discovery Channel. This episode was on the deep ocean and showed all kinds of cool marine life. Mads asked how you get down there and I told her about scuba gear, submarines and scientists....specifically Marine Biologists. She immediately said she wants to be a scientist...a marine biologist. 2 seconds later, she asks what who makes candy...mmm "a chemist, another kind of scientist." She's still thinking scientist..that's cool...I can see that...until a few seconds after that, she decides she wants to work in an ice cream store.

Preschool

Today at preschool as Rodeo Day. There were baby pigs, a baby goat, a funky chicken and a donkey that really liked Lola. Even though she's only 2, I see major changes and growth from school. She loves to sing songs and dance and is a sweet sweet child....except when she's having tantrums!
