Water Play at Home

Now that you can walk on the grass, we've set up the sprinkler. Mads has loads of fun jumping over it and Lola just giggles as she gets a little wet. But Lola has taken a liking to the water table. She loves to pour the water into Brandi's mouth and Brandi seems 10 years younger while playing with her!

Open Car

Today we were at a light, behind a convertible Porsche. Madeline said, "Hey mom, look at the open car. I want a race car like that open racecar."

Splash Pads

When it's 115 degrees outside and you live in Phoenix, lots of outdoor parks and zoos have these awesome splash zones. Here's Lola with her first splashpad experience of the season.

Baby Birds

A few weeks ago Madeline and Nanny discovered a bird's nest nestled behind the vines on Maria's fence. Today they discovered 3 tiny little birds.

Character

Lola thinks she's a gangster with Grandpa Zeek's old hat. She puts the hat on, covering her face, and walks around bumping into things....since she can't see. What a goof!

Crawfish

Today Jeff and I bought some crawfish. The girls loved eating them and Mads had fun playing with them. Here, 2 crawfish look like they are deuling. Can you figure out what's on the table next to them?

Poop on the Pot

This morning Lola was grunting and saying, "poop poop potty potty." So jeff swooped her up, removed her diaper and placed her on the potty. There was already a little terd in the diaper, but he figured her would show her the appropriate place to do her business. Well, a few minutes later, Lola stands up and there is a little pile of poop in her potty! After it was dumped (excuse the pun) into the big potty, Lola sat back down on the potty, closed lid and all, and proceeded to pee ON the potty (just not in it).

Mother's Day Tea Party
